For parents of students in Junior-Kindergarten, an In-Class Observation Visit Form will be sent home with your child the week of November 10, 2014. In the weeks to follow, you will be invited to come into the classroom to observe how your child is adjusting to Junior Kindergarten for half an hour. Research shows that positive early experiences with school are important to young children. The learning children do in the first months of Kindergarten provides the basis for future successful learning experiences.
For scheduling purposes, you will have an opportunity to select from time-slots for your visit, to identify ones that may be more convenient for you to attend. The date and time will be confirmed with an invitation, sent from your child’s teacher. For more information, see the Junior Kindergarten Observation Visit Letter.
