We thank everyone who participated in our safety trivia contests. We had close to sixty responses! The correct answers follow:
Our school’s AED (Automated External Defibrillator) can be found mounted on the wall in a case in our school’s foyer, just outside the entrance to the gym. Like many publicly mounted AEDs, signage on the wall above the AED cabinet makes it easy to spot from a distance. The helmet safety tip our students learned is known as the 2-V-1 rule (2 fingers distance from helmet to brow; V –Shape straps around both ears; 1 finger between chin and strap).
Prizes will be sent home with children of our contest winners in the days ahead. While Safety Week has passed, let’s keep our students and community safe all year round!
