This is what a single day of giving looks like! We kindly ask everyone who has yet to, to please make a donation of a non-perishable food item or sundry in support of the Vaughan Food Bank. We will continue to collect items through the end of next week.
We also wanted to provide a quick and final reminder to parents that students who wish to dress up, please do so on Monday October 30th, to coincide with our Bounce Entertainment Dance! Please note that on October 30th, the focus of the day remains on instruction, any Halloween related activities are optional, and students will have a choice to participate in alternative activities. Students will be allowed to dress up but they must follow Board Protocol. We ask all students to reserve coming to school in costume to Monday, October 30th only. Costume accessories including, but not limited to, toy guns, knives, axes, swords, etc. are not in compliance with York Region District School Board’s Safe Schools Policy #668.0. Similarly, costumes should be respectful of others. For example, if something is representative of a person’s culture or religious beliefs, then it should not be worn as another person’s costume.
We look forward to a fabulous event in support of a good cause!
