Well-Being in 2018: School Council’s Winter Wellness Night

12 Dec

With the New Year almost at hand, now is often the time many people begin to make personal commitments to matters of self-improvement.  And we want to support you in doing so!

On the evening of Thursday, January 18th 2018 our School Council is hosting a Winter Wellness Night with a variety of sessions for parents (or parents and children) on a wide range of topics from healthy eating to active living, from mental health to physical well-being.  So start planning for your New Year’s resolutions early and register for the sessions you’re interested in!

Registration is now open and will continue until Wednesday, December 20th.  Registrations are on a first come, first serve basis.  All workshops are free, but note that some workshops have limited space.  We encourage you to sign up early to avoid disappointment!  (Proper fitness attire will be required for fitness-related workshops.)

Register now at http://bit.ly/BPSWellness

Our Wellness Night includes an open ‘wellness showcase’ in the library, along with two scheduled workshop sessions requiring registration.  At the registration link above, parents will be asked to choose two sessions from the workshops indicated below.  Some workshops involve child and adult participation, and some are geared towards parents only.  The registration form will indicate that parents (or guardians or grandparents) sign up individually and where applicable, include their children’s names.

We look forward to seeing you in the New Year … and making our collective well-being a priority in 2018!
