Bakersfield Public School has been an ECO school for a number of years, and we have decided to try and achieve a status of PLATINUM this year. You can help!
Today we heard from some of our Student Leaders about the importance of helping our environment, and specifically about Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
The focus of our campaign this year is to reduce SINGLE USE PLASTICS (ziploc bags, individual wrappers, plastic water bottles, plastic cutlery, straws, etc). Please help to support this initiative by:
- sending reusable water bottles
- sending reusable cutlery
- using containers instead of ziplocs
- buying in bulk and sending small amounts in containers
- sending reusable straws
Help us achieve PLATINUM and help our environment too!
