The week of May 4th to May 8th is Children’s Mental Health Week which is centered on promoting awareness to the signs of child and youth mental health problems. Together, we can decrease the stigma related to mental health and help everyone understand that help is out there and it’s easier than you think. During these unprecedented times we are faced with bigger challenges that might trigger feelings and emotions that can be overwhelming. The Mental Health and Wellness team at Bakersfield Public School has compiled some daily activities that can be done throughout the week to help us promote Children’s Mental Health Week. We encourage everyone to participate and share how you participated with pride. We are all in this together, now let’s get out there and have some fun! See below for our FIRST activity!
