Dear Parents/Guardians,
As was communicated earlier today, schools in YRDSB will remain open at this time. York Region Public Health is aware of the concern that variants present and will continue to monitor the situation.
In order to prepare for a scenario where Bakersfield would have to close following the April Break, we will be sending home Chromebooks on Friday, April 9th with the students whose families have completed our technology survey. Again, we have no knowledge of any potential closure, this is purely in the interest of being prepared. If there is no closure, please return the device on Monday, April 19th.

- If you completed the attached survey last week, before the long weekend, you do not need to resubmit the Form
- If you did not complete the survey, please do so by Thursday, April 8th at 4:00 pm.
- If your child is not at school on Friday, April 9th, please call the office to arrange an alternative pick up.
