Now that we have had a few rainy weeks to settle in to summer…some of our team have permanently settled into summer and we want to wish them well! If you haven’t already heard the news….
Mrs. Bergart is RETIRED! Congratulations to Mrs. Bergart on a full career in teaching and in learning. We are so grateful for all she has added to Bakersfield over the years and know that we will miss her. Mrs. Bergart championed our eco-school initiatives and Eco Club and kept our gardens looking great! I know many of us will miss the shoe charms she would dole out on Walking Wednesdays too! Keep in touch Mrs. Bergart! We will celebrate with you when you come to visit in the fall. High fives all around!
Congratulations also to our quiet hero Mr. Bruno Pariselli on his retirement! After a long career on the railroad, he joined our Caretaking Team and has been great! He has high standards and kept us moving along at Bakersfield. Mr. Pariselli is part of our award winning team for Excellence and he will be missed! We hope he visits when he can!
