At Bakersfield we continue to learn about one another in an effort to increase our awareness, acceptance and inclusion of others with the goal to make sure everyone knows they matter. Typically we post about diamond days- the highest holidays for different faith groups, but we learn at school about days that extend beyond diamond days. For example, in December, we talk about Chanukah, Christmas and Kwanzaa, but we also recognize amongst others; Bodi Day, Las Posadas, and Pancha Ganapati.
