Wishing our families that celebrate tomorrow, a Joyous Ridvan and an Eid Mubarak!
We have had a busy week this week and the pace is not slowing down! Keep reading for a short summary of this week and a look ahead to next.
This week our Grade 7’s had thier Outdoor Education Field Trip, some of our Primary classes had a Scientist in the School Virtual Field Trip, we hosted a few junior basketball games and have been busy practising for our May 4th Spring Concert, our badminton tournament and our basketball tournaments. As a school and in our classes, we acknowledged Holocaust Remembrance Day and continued to participate in events to celebrate Autism Acceptance month.
Today our Robotics teams competed in the area robotics tournament. The students coded our Lego robots to complete various NASA themed tasks like collecting space junk, moving storage pods, and helping astronauts on a space walk. Both Junior and Intermediate teams did really well for our first competition in several years. The Juniors placed seventh and our Intermediates placed fourth. Great job everyone! Check out our instagram for a photo of their robots.
